The console version came to a grinding halt after alpha 15 or 16, then TTG went bankrupt (Currently back up and running though, but it's not the same TTG as it used to be.).įirst of all, not everyone can afford an Xbox Series X. The game when released on console was identical to the PC version at the time, but since TFP didn't give a damn and didn't bother coordinating with the company doing the port and the publisher for the console version, and not taking the lead, nothing happened. Ported means that they simply convert files and make sure they work with the targeted platform. The console version was not 'developed entirely' by a different company. That said, they are not looking at anything console related until -after- the PC version is finished since that is the version TFP have been developing all along.
